What I believe

AI is poised to be the biggest disruption in human history.

But how can we make sure AI is aligned to us, when our own self-understanding is constantly evolving?

Said differently, I believe that we must model and quantify the self in all its subjectivity, to solve for true alignment at the individual level.

Ultimately I see my work in modeling the self with Clarity as contributing to minimizing existential risk by aligning AI with human goals safely and productively at scale.
